What this statement covers
This privacy statement covers the website salesdna.nl and the forms on it. It belongs to Sales Legends Group, the company behind SalesDNA.
Do you use the SalesDNA platform (the app)? Separate rules apply there. Your organization is then the controller and SalesDNA is the processor, with a data processing agreement. How the platform protects your data is explained on Privacy & security.
1. Who is responsible
The controller for the data you leave through this website is:
Sales Legends Group
Mozartlaan 25, 1217 CM Hilversum, The Netherlands
Email: info@saleslegends.nl
Phone: 085 201 11 05
Chamber of Commerce number: 30200175
Do you have a question about this statement or about your data? Email info@saleslegends.nl. You receive a reply within one working day.
2. Which data we process and why
We process only what you fill in yourself, plus what is technically needed to make the website work. Per part:
Demo request
Your name, your business email address, your organization, a preferred time and whatever you fill in under your question. We use this only to schedule and confirm the demo. Legal basis: performance of a contract, namely the appointment you make with us (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Contact form
Your name, organization, email address, optionally your phone number, the size of your sales team, the subject and your situation. We use this to answer your question. Legal basis: legitimate interest, namely responding to a question you ask us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Quick scan
Your email address and your seven answers (yes, partly or no), plus the resulting score. We use this to send you the result and to ask once whether you want to talk further about it. Legal basis: consent, which you give by entering your email address (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, with one email.
Salesbazen newsletter
Your email address. We use it only to send you the newsletter every month. Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Login page
The page /inloggen on this website is an example screen. What you enter there is not sent and not stored. Logging in happens in the SalesDNA platform, which has its own privacy rules.
Technical data
When you visit the website, the hosting provider briefly processes your IP address and your browser details, to show the page and to prevent abuse. This is needed to keep the website working securely. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Statistics without cookies
If statistics are enabled, we use Plausible Analytics. Plausible sets no cookies, builds no profile and stores no IP address. We see how many visitors view a page and which button is used, not who that is. Legal basis: legitimate interest, namely knowing whether the website works (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). More about this in the cookie policy.
3. How long we keep data
We do not keep data longer than needed for the purpose you gave it for.
| Data | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Demo request | Up to 6 months after the demo or after the last contact. If you become a customer, your data moves to the customer records. |
| Contact form | Up to 6 months after the last contact. |
| Quick scan | Email address and answers: 3 months after the scan. After that we keep only the answers without the email address, for averages. |
| Newsletter | Until you unsubscribe. After that we delete your address within 30 days. |
| Technical log files | At most 30 days, at the hosting provider. |
| Statistics | Without personal data; only totals per page. |
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data and do not give it to others for their own purposes. We do use a few parties that process data for us. We have a data processing agreement with each of them.
- Hosting and forms: Netlify. The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Forms you submit arrive through Netlify Forms or through a secure connection to our own mailbox or CRM. Netlify has servers in the EU and the United States. Data can therefore end up outside the EU. The standard contractual clauses of the European Commission apply (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR), which are part of the data processing agreement with Netlify.
- Statistics: Plausible Analytics. Only if enabled. Plausible Insights OÜ is based in Estonia and processes everything within the EU, without cookies and without personal data.
- Email and calendar. To answer you and schedule a demo we use our business email and calendar. These providers process data in the EU or with appropriate safeguards.
Only when the law requires it, for example with a lawful request from a supervisory authority, do we give data to others.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access: you may know which data we hold about you.
- Rectification: you may have incorrect data corrected.
- Erasure: you may have your data deleted.
- Restriction: you may ask us to restrict the processing.
- Portability: you may receive the data you provided yourself in a common file format.
- Objection: you may object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Withdrawing consent: at any time and without giving a reason. This does not affect what we lawfully did before.
Email your request to info@saleslegends.nl. We respond within four weeks. To make sure it is you, we may ask for a confirmation from the email address we hold for you.
6. Complaints
Not happy with how we handle your data? Let us know first, so we can solve it together. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
7. Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Forms have a spam filter without tracking. Only staff who follow up your request see your data. Requests are not in the website's source code and not in public places. Do you suspect a security problem? Email info@saleslegends.nl.
8. No profiling, no automated decisions
Based on this website we make no automated decisions about you and build no profile of you. The quick scan score is a sum of your own answers and is shown only to you.
9. Changes
We update this statement when the website or the law changes. The latest version is always on this page, with the date at the top. For a change that really affects you, for example a new purpose for the newsletter, we ask for your consent again.
